Fred Meyer collects donations for Operation Homefront through the coin boxes at check stands along with Fred Meyer associate contributions. Funds raised are used to directly support programs and services for local troops and their families.
The Kimberly-Clark Corporation created a special Huggies camo diaper that was distributed exclusively in Walmart stores across the country. Operation Homefront received one diaper for every box of Huggies that was sold. Together, Huggies and Walmart donated 500,000 diapers that were distributed to military families throughout the U.S.
Operation Gratitude lifts morale and puts smiles on faces by sending care packages addressed to individual soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines deployed overseas. While Operation Gratitude supports the deployed service members, Operation Homefront supports their families at home. Operation Gratitude has been a long-time partner and has supplied Operation Homefront with in-kind goods to be distributed to the military families at home.
pediped® honored military families with a "Buy a Pair to Give a Pair" event that benefitted Operation Homefront. For each pair of shoes sold over Memorial Day weekend, pediped footwear donated a pair of pediped shoes to Operation Homefront. Thousands of shoes were donated and Operation Homefront distributed these shoes directly to families of our service members and wounded warriors.
