Operation Homefront is pleased to present the Military Child of the Year® Award to outstanding military children who demonstrate resiliency, leadership and achievement. Recipients representing each service branch receive their award at a Washington, DC Gala celebration in April each year.

The fifth annual award will be presented April 11, 2013 at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City.

6pm Cocktails, 7pm Gala doors open.

In addition to the trip to our nation's capital, recipients are awarded a laptop computer and a $5,000 cash prize.

Toy Drive 2013

The Annual Toy Drive benefits thousands of children from military families in the Tri-State area each year. This community-wide effort helps to provide a gift to our military kids during the holiday season. There are many ways to be involved in the Annual Toy Drive: Donate, Sponsor a Child, Start a Collection and Volunteer.

Adopt-a-Family 2013

Would you like a great way to connect one on one with military families to say a special thank you this holiday season by providing food and gifts to the family? Community sponsors must be able to provide an entire holiday dinner with all the trimmings for the family (estimated $50-$100) and gifts for each of the children (minimum of $35-$50 per child).
