
Fred Meyer Coin Boxes Benefit Operation Homefront
Your small change can make a a big difference.
Fred Meyer has coin boxes set up to receive donations in all of its stores across Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. All donations will benefit military families through Operation
Homefront. The campaign runs through August 17. The company hopes to raise more than $200,000 for Operation
Homefront.
Fred
Meyer has had coin boxes at its checkstands for more than 10 years, and
the money collected in those coin boxes are distributed through the
company’s corporate foundation, The Fred Meyer Fund.
Coin Box Crazy Photo ContestSmall change could equal a big
prize for you! When you donate to the coin boxes at any Fred Meyer store
in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, be sure to take a picture and
email it to us at
socialnet@operationhomefront.net . Pictures should include you or family members by the Fred Meyer coin
box, dropping change into the slot. All photos sent to us will be
entered in a random drawing to receive a $250 Fred Meyer gift
certificate. Photos must be sent to us between now and Aug. 17. Only
one entry per person over 18. Please include your name, telephone number
