| An Iraq war veteran and resident of OH Village-DC needs financial support as he undergoes treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and awaits the start of VA benefit payments. OH Village provides free housing and a variety of support services and he continues to search for a job so that he can be self-sufficient, he still needs help with other expenses. Virigina Family Needs Home Repair 6/12/2009 |

| A Virginia family of four needs immediate assistance with a major home repair. Raw sewage leaking into the backyard has made the home unlivable for the wife and their two children, ages 5 and 10. The service member has been deployed to Iraq since January 09; his family may have to vacate the property because they can’t afford to fix the health hazard. Additionally, they are unable to sell the home due to the outstanding repair. The cost to repair damage is more than $20,000. | Operation Homefront Village, a transitional housing facility for wounded, ill and injured service members, has a resident in desperate need of a good, working vehicle. The service member is currently #1b on the heart transplant list and in need of a vehicle. Without reliable transportation, the family cannot attend the numerous medical appointment or be on site quickly should a heart become available.
