    Current Needs
    Going Around With Paperwork
    $871 Still Needed
    My gift...
This recently medically retired soldier has repeatedly submitted paperwork to the VA so that his compensation will reflect that he has a family, but he has been unsuccessful in correcting their error. His injuries are too severe for him to work, and being only compensated as if he were single has meant a tough time making ends meet. He has been assured the error will be corrected in the next two months, but for now, the family is worried about keeping the lights on and groceries in the cupboard.
Seen the Best and The Worst
    $810 Still Needed
    My gift...
This soldier has been deployed not only to fight, but to save lives in the world's disaster zones. Both experiences have left him changed, both mentally and physically. As a result, he was just medically retired from the Army, and is still waiting on his final pay and VA benefits. Most of their finances are going to care for him and their newborn daughter. Please help us support the family through the transition by assisting with rent, utilities, groceries and items for the baby.
    Just Medically Retired
    $210 Still Needed
    My gift...
Having been medically evacuated from the last of his 4 deployments, this Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient was just medically retired from service. Due to the gap in compensation, he is in need of assistance with groceries and funds for transportation to and from his many medical appointments. With your help, we can smooth over this rough transition.
    When Caregivers Need Help
    $1,110 Still Needed
    My gift...
Our caregivers are the heroes behind the heroes, but when their health is in jeopardy, then the family soon is in crisis. When the spouse of this wounded Marine had to have multiple heart surgeries, they found themselves also in a financial crisis, and weren't able to keep up with their car payments. This is their only vehicle and they need it now more than ever. Help us ensure they will have reliable transportation by assisting with car payments.
    Pay Error Not Resolved
    $1,260 Still Needed
    My gift...
This soldier has had two surgeries since returning from overseas, and is currently awaiting a medical board. An error in the submission of his travel paperwork resulted in finance recouping a large amount of pay from him erroneously. They are working to correct the problem, but he does not know when that will happen. Please help us keep a roof over his head while he gets the situation sorted.
    Moving Closer to Needed Care
    $614 Still Needed
    My gift...
This wounded Marine was recently discharged from a several month hospital stay for continued treatment of traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress. Because the family home was 90 miles away, his family moved closer to where he can get the help he needs to heal. This has been incredibly stressful on the family and their finances, and they need help to keep the new residence they have.
    Set To Be Medically Retired
    $420 Still Needed
    My gift...
As a result of his two deployments to Iraq, where he experienced a traumatic brain injury and back injury while carrying a battle buddy, this soldier is soon to be medically retired. An extraordinary amount was deducted from his last pay period, leaving this seriously injured single Dad without the funds to cover all of his expenses. With your help, we can get him through this temporary financial crisis by assisting with payments on his only vehicle so he can transport his children and get to his numerous medical appointments.
Home Isn't What It Should Be
    $895 Still Needed
    My gift...
This Army soldier spent much of his three tours to Iraq defending combat engineers in dangerous areas. While he made it home safe, the experience of that has stayed with him, and he struggles every day with his health and well being. Having a landlord that ignored city codes, resulting in a city mandated eviction certainly does not help. He and his caregiver used their scarce resources to secure new housing, but they need assistance with rent for this month. Help us get them back on their feet.
    Added Costs For Adapted Vehicle
    $836 Still Needed
    My gift...
This combat veteran of the Iraq War was recently assisted by the VA with obtaining a specially adapted vehicle that will accommodate his significant injuries. A paperwork error by the dealership resulted in a large tax bill being assessed to the family, and since this was their only vehicle, they had to pay it in order to register the vehicle. This has placed significant financial strain on the family. With your help, we can alleviate that burden by assisting with rent and utilities.
    Help With Ongoing Needs
    My gift... $150

Help A Warrior Transition To Civilian Life
    Please Give!

We offer free housing for wounded service members and their families to live during the transition process. These families get extra help to prepare and move to a place of their own.
    My gift... $75
    Help Keep Essential Vehicle Rolling
    Please Give!
Getting around is hard when your car is being repaired, but imagine trying to get around with a significant injury and add 2-3 medical appointments a day. Some wounded service members do not have enough money to fix their vehicles. Your donations can help heroes with much-needed repairs.
    My gift... $125
    Provide Comfort For Military Family
    Please Give!
What happens when a military spouse turns on the water to bathe a child and finds no hot water? The repair might have been feasible when their service member was home but due to deployment or injury recovery that is no longer possible. You can help make a difference.
    My gift... $100
Send a Caregiver To A Retreat
    Please Give!
Caregivers are essential to the successful recovery of our heroes wounded in combat. But they need to get away, connect with others in their unique situation and rejuvenate.
