Car Accident Impacts Army Family
$740 Still Needed
This medically retired Army soldier and father of three is still reeling from a car accident in December. Though safe, the resulting loss of his vehicle and associated costs was extremely tough for them to handle on an already tight budget. By assisting the family with rent for this month, we can provide some breathing room for a family that has already faced so many challenges.
Critical Dental Work Needed
$1,771 Still Needed
While this soldier is being cared for at a Warrior Transition Unit for his injuries, his wife cares for their 3 small children at the family home some distance away. As stressful as that can be, it is now made more difficult due to his wife's need for critical dental work. Please help us provide this care for her so she can remain healthy and continue to support her husband in his recovery.
Medical Leave Impacts Finances
$1,784 Still Needed
Per doctors order from the Veterans Administration, this wounded Army Reservist is not able to return to work as they evaluate the residual damage of his ankle injury sustained in Iraq. Because he is on Family and Medical Leave, he cannot apply for unemployment benefits. The family was using their savings to help supplement his VA benefits and his wife's income, but a costly transmission repair on their vehicle pushed their finances over the edge. He hopes to be able to return to work soon, but the family needs help now to stay in their home with their young children.

With your help, we can give back to this Marine and get him on the road to the next chapter in his life.
Soldier Moved Due to Illness
$782 Still Needed
Mistakes and error by finance have created significant delays in processing travel and reimbursements to this soldier and his family for their transfer from Hawaii to Oklahoma. The soldier was reassigned for medical treatment of a significant illness, and his spouse has to pursue additional professional licensing in Oklahoma while also caring for him and their daughter. Help us ensure they can settle in to their new home by assisting with housing costs and utilities this month.
Father's Passing a Heavy Blow
$172 Still Needed
The illness and loss of his father has weighed heavily on this Army soldier and his family, and the cost to travel frequently to visit his father before his passing has significantly impacted the family's budget, and they need assistance with rent and utilities. Please help us support him through this difficult time.
Help with Move In Costs
$1,214 Still Needed
Stable permanent housing has been identified as a significant need among our disabled veterans, and this has proven to be true for this injured Army Reservist, his wife, and their daughter. They recently had to find new housing and need assistance with move in costs. Please help us give them some much need stability.
Transition A Struggle
$1,130 Still Needed
Having been medically separated, this soldier and Mom had to move from her post housing to a new home. A delay in the processing of her separation pay has left the family of 5 with a gap in income that they needed to support their move and new housing costs. Please consider assisting with this month's rent so they can rest easy tonight.
Mold Forces Urgent Move
$1,205 Still Needed
The wounded Army soldier has to immediately move to a new residence because his current home has severe mold issues that cannot be fixed. For his health and security, we can assist with the deposit on his new apartment so he and his spouse can focus on the challenges of life with significant injuries.
Future on Hold, Family Struggles
$1,919 Still Needed
Just when this young, injured Army veteran and Dad was getting back on his feet and looking forward to providing for his family, the shutdown of the government brought it all to a halt. Although he will soon be able to begin his new career, the delay significantly impacted the family’s finances and caused them to fall behind on mortgage and car payments. Please help get them back on their feet.
Help Provide Care and Support
$1,630 Still Needed
The caregivers of our wounded warriors often have to leave their jobs to care full time for their loved ones. Support is available for them, but it can take time to process. This family has been approved for that support but are waiting for benefits to begin. This has left a gap in income that has created a temporary financial hardship. With your help, we can relieve that burden by assisting with housing and utility costs for the month.
Many military families have faced eviction or foreclosure due to unexpected changes that affect their finances. Transitioning wounded service members may see a pay decrease once their military pay stops and their disability benefits begin. Help families keep a roof over their heads.
Pay The Electric Bill of a Military Family
Your donation of just $200 could provide power for a month to a military family in need or ensure that power is kept on for wounded warriors who need medical equipment for survival.
Help Feed A Military Family
We assist struggling military families by providing food boxes, grocery gift certificates, or vouchers to the commissary. Each family is provided enough food for a week while case workers help them find long-term solutions. Your $20 gift can give a hot meal to a military family.
Help A Warrior Transition To Civilian Life
Our young returning veterans are at risk of becoming homeless if they don't get help transitioning to civilian life. We offer free housing for wounded service members and their families to live during the transition process. These families get extra help to prepare and move to a place of their own.
Help Keep Essential Vehicle Rolling
Getting around is hard when your car is being repaired, but imagine trying to get around with a significant injury and add 2-3 medical appointments a day. Some wounded service members do not have enough money to fix their vehicles. Your donations can help heroes with much-needed repairs.
Provide Comfort For Military Family
What happens when a military spouse turns on the water to bathe a child and finds no hot water? The repair might have been feasible when their service member was home but due to deployment or injury recovery that is no longer possible. You can help make a difference.
Send a Caregiver To A Retreat
Caregivers are essential to the successful recovery of our heroes wounded in combat. But they need to get away, connect with others in their unique situation and rejuvenate.
