Programs - Moving Assistance
 

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the moving service is to supply the physical labor or moving company
to assist families with deployed service members with non-PCS moves and includes the following:

Moving to new/larger quarters
Moving items into/out of storage units upon deployment or return from deployment.
Moving from civilian units into military housing.

QUALIFICATION:

The service member MUST be deployed.
2 weeks notice is required for all moves.
Operation Homefront does not pack or unpack belongings.
Operation Homefront is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings.
In the event of moves requiring a work crew only, the client is responsible for booking the truck. Operation Homefront may make arrangements to pay for the vehicle or reimburse the client for the expense depending on family circumstances
