Military Family Appreciation Day at Zoo Boise
Operation Homefront Idaho's participation in Zoo Boise's Military Family Apprciation Day July10th was a huge success! Our primary goal was to let our Idaho military families know we are now here in Idaho, ready-willing-able, to provide them with support and assistance in times of financial difficulty. Our secondary goal was to show them our appreciation for all they do and go through for us to keep us safe. We hit home-runs on both goals. It was such a great feeling to see the pleasure on all their faces as we handed them free gifts with a heart-felt thank you for their service.
The number of people that attended the event surpassed the expected number by over 200 with a final count of 965!
