Current Needs

Specialist Alex, father of two, is deployed and his wife back home was already struggling to make ends meet when she needed new eye glasses! Such an expense out of pocket was completely out of reach. Reaching out to Operation Homefront Michigan's Vision Care Assistance program was the key! She was able to get the glasses she needed and get back to reading to her children before bed! Vision Care Assistance donations will benefit Specialist Alex's family and other similar families all over Michigan!

Sgt Justin, husband and father of a 2 yr old, came home on leave from deployment to find a 30 day notice for the rental property they were living in. The property was being sold and they had a short time to find a new home! At their wits end in trying to come up with first months rent and security deposit for a new place, they turned to Operation Homefront Michigan! Within the 30 days, the family was securely in their new home and waiting for Sgt Justin to come home for good! Donations for Housing Assistance will benefit military families just like this all, and other emergencies, all over Michigan!

Sgt Cynthia is a fulltime reservist and single mother of two. Due to some unexpected car repairs before Thanksgiving, she is still trying to balance out her finances. With Christmas around the corner, she called Operation Homefront Michigan for a hand up! Food assistance for the month is exactly what she needed to make it through.
