Real-Life Wives Celebrate Upcoming Season of Army Wives
Fans of the show Army Wives were easy to find at the Outback Steakhouse in Savannah, GA recently. Outback Steakhouse, Lifetime TV, and Operation Homefront recently hosted a very special Homefront Celebration to kick off Season 5 of the popular television show. We invited real-life military wives to join us for lunch and some "surprises" from the show. The event’s highlight included a surprise appearance by Brian McNamara who plays Maj. Gen. Michael Holden on the show (pictured here with two military wives). While there, they filmed vignettes for the show that will appear on March 13.
"It's an opportunity for us to honor military families," McNamara said. "Our commitment to U.S. servicemen extends beyond just our show." McNamara even demonstrated his commitment by wearing a 3rd Infantry Division golf shirt.
