Operation Homefront Opens New Village in Bethesda, MD
Operation Homefront welcomed its first residents to its new Bethesda Village in Maryland. Army Specialist Richard New and his family celebrated a comfortable Christmas in their new home, with a tree and gifts provided by Soldier's Angels. The Operation Homefront Villages provide homes for wounded warriors to live for free as they transition to life after the military. The properties are fully furnished, with full utility services, internet access, and cable TV. This is the third village for Operation Homefront. Find out more about our villages. Special thanks to Soldier's Angels who provided more than $40,000 worth of furniture for the Bethesda Village.
