CA VIPS Step Up to Support Freedom Walks
OH Southern California organized a Freedom Walk in remembrance of 9/11 at Balboa Park in San Diego. Monica Dean, Emmy Award-winning reporter and anchor for NBC 7 in San Diego, emceed the event. Dean is the daughter of a retired Navy captain. Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher, the first Marine veteran of the war in Iraq elected to California state legislature, was the keynote speaker for the event.
