10 Military Families Win $2500 In Car Repairs

Advance Auto Parts and Operation Homefront recently announced the winners of a local contest to help Philadelphia-area military families in need. The contest, which began in August, awarded 10 winners $2500 worth of car repairs and maintenance. The partner organizations launched the local contest for active duty and veteran military families in and around the Philadelphia area as an expression of the company’s gratitude and recognition of their sacrifice. The 10 winners that were selected are: Howard Porter (Pottstown, PA); Jessica Follett (Fort Dix, NJ); Matthew Morgan (Trenton, NJ); Anthony Costa (Philadelphia, PA); Michael Suplee (Maple Shade, NJ); Harry Young (Fort Dix, NJ); Thomas Brown (Philadelphia, PA); Ryan Lafferty (Fort Dix, NJ); Damon Sweigert (Aston, PA) and Marguerite Sands (Ambler, PA).
