Chase and Operation Homefront Present At Jacksonville Jaguars Game
Chase and Operation Homefront were honored to present a mortgage-free home to Army Sergeant Ralph White and his wife at the recent Jacksonville Jaguars game. The home was given White as part of our
Homes on the Homefront program. White, upon his official retirement from active duty, will move with his wife and five kids, into the home in Jacksonville.

Growing up in western Maryland, Ralph White was the son of a soldier. As an Army brat, Ralph always wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps, so in 1993 he enlisted in the Army National Guard, anticipating a better education and the experience of new and exciting things.
Ralph served in the Maryland National Guard from 1993 to 1997 and decided to get out to because his civilian job and military service were causing scheduling issues. In 2005, Ralph returned to military service, enlisting in the Georgia National Guard.
“It was important for me to get back to the military service,” said Ralph. “I felt it was my duty to my country to serve after 9/11.”
He was stationed at Ft. Benning, Ga., and deployed to Iraq from 2005 to 2006. While there, Ralph operated an M2A2 Bradley (tank), as a gunner and driver, and also served as a long-range marksman. After his deployment, he transferred to Ft. Knox, Tenn., where he taught other soldiers in the M2A2 and M2A3 Bradley courses.
Knowing that his military service is almost over, Ralph and his wife Debbie have five children and currently live at Debbie’s daughter Heather’s house in Bristol, Va., and upon his official retirement from active duty, will be moving into their new home in Jacksonville, Fla., through the Homes on the Homefront program.
“We never thought we were going to be able to get our own home,” said Ralph. “The new home is like winning the lottery to us. I was so thrilled when I found out that I couldn’t stop crying tears of joy, which, by the way, is something that I don’t normally do.”
