National Housing Conference Recognizes Operation Homefront and Home Depot Foundation
Operation Homefront was excited to be honored at the National Housing Conference's 40th Annual Gala that recognized organizations that serve America's veterans by meeting their housing needs. Operation Homefront, along with our partner, the Home Depot Foundation, was recognized for our work in housing for veterans, including transitional housing, permanent housing, and home repair.
The Home Depot Foundation places special emphasis on serving U.S. military veterans who are facing growing financial and physical hardships at home as they return to civilian life. Over the next three years, the Foundation will invest more than $30 million to help ease the burdens of this deserving group by repairing and renovating homes for military veterans.
