Ashley Furniture Helps Military Families Sleep Easier
Operation Homefront received a very
generous donation of 1,300 Ashley Sleep mattresses to be distributed to military
families! About 500 king and queen latex mattresses were distributed yesterday
in San Antonio. The line of people continued steadily until the mattresses were
gone!
We will also be using some of the mattresses to upgrade bedding in
our three Operation Homefront Villages that provides housing for wounded
warriors in San Antonio, TX; Oceanside, CA; and Gaithersburg, MD. More than 200
will be distributed
in Washington state later this month, and most of the remainder will be
distributed in the DC-Metro area after that. Keep watching Operation
