Home Depot & Operation Homefront Deliver Appliances to Military Families
The Home Depot Foundation recently teamed up with us to deliver new appliances to military families in Minot, North Dakota, which was ravaged by the historic flooding this summer. The help was prompted by a visit from General and Mrs. Schwartz who then contacted Operation Homefront. Home Depot stepped in to help deliver refrigerators, stoves, microwaves and washers and dryers. More than 1,000 Minot Air Force Base service members and their families were displaced from their homes and many have been struggling to recover since then.
