Military Outreach Events
Several pre-deployment and welcome home military outreach events are held throughout the state of Florida year-round. By volunteering at an Operation Homefront-Florida information booth at a military outreach event you will be providing vital information to Florida’s service members and their families. Informational material is provided. Short video/conference call training is required.

Morale Special Events
Back to School Brigade, Adopt a Family, Holiday Toy Drive, Freedom Walk and Run, Touchdown for the Troops, and Military Muster are a few of the events Operation Homefront-Florida holds throughout the state. If you are interested in volunteering on an event committee in your region, or volunteering at the event, apply now and you will receive a notification with further information. Event committee members help coordinate volunteers, secure sponsorships and in-kind donations, design event décor, and/or assist OHFL staff with the event. Event volunteers help with day-of setup and breakdown, registration and assist OHFL staff where needed.

Administrative Services
Are you good with databases, Excel spreadsheets, writing memorandums, standard operating procedures or keeping track of administrative documents? Then being on Operation Homefront-Florida’s administrative support team is the position for you. Operation Homefront-Florida is always looking for volunteers to help provide administrative support to our case workers and staff members to ensure we are meeting needs in a timely manner. Microsoft Excel and Word required. Office locations are available, but work can also be done remotely.

Business Skills Volunteer
Operation Homefront-Florida often has needs for special services such as automotive repair, home repair, general contracting and financial services. If you own a business or have any professional skills that you would like to use to assist our service members and their families, we are happy to help. Contact Operation Homefront-Florida and a staff person will get you the appropriate application and contact you when a need arises that you can fulfill.
