
Operation Bridal Gown
Operation Homefront's Florida chapter has partnered with international bridal company, Alfred Angelo, to fulfill the dreams of military brides.
Alfred Angelo, the world's leading manufacturer of bridal gowns and bridal party attire, has donated 186 designer gowns to Operation Homefront to give to military brides throughout the state of Florida.
Amanda Sheronas, Director of Public Relations for Alfred Angelo, said, “We are thrilled to be able to partner with Operation Homefront, Florida for such a wonderful cause," said Amanda Sheronas, Director of Public Relations for Alfred Angelo. "To know that Alfred Angelo is able to help make the wedding dreams of our committed men and women come true is a wonderful way to be able to give back for all that they sacrifice in serving our country.”
First preference for these gowns will be given to servicewomen brides who are deployed or wounded, or soon-to-be brides of servicemen deployed or wounded, available on a first come, first serve basis. Styles and sizes will vary.
Already, the dresses have made wishes come true for military brides-to-be.
"My eyes actually started watering when I pulled it out of the box. Less than 2 months until my wedding day. Receiving the dress made it seem so surreal. I can't say thanks enough to the designer, this organization and most of all...you! You have been so kind words can't say enough!" wrote Amy, one dress recipient.
Shannon, also sent a note upon recieving her dress.
"Oh my gosh!!! I got the dress today!!! It is SO gorgeous! The picture does not even do it justice.... Please tell Alfred Angelo that they has another ecstatic bride-to-be!! It is a wonderful company that would donate such beautiful dresses and make so many women's dreams come true!!"
