story. Operation Homefront Florida hosted a Military Love Story Contest
honor of Valentine’s Day and our Operation Homefront Bridal Gown
contest ends on February 24 and the winner will receive jewelry donated
Buben. Operation Homefront Florida wants to thank Philips Healthcare who
donated and put together 16 bikes for military children. The bikes will
distributed to children of recently deployed or recently returned

Security First Insurance successfully ended their December Facebook Campaign by raising $5,000 to Operation Homefront. For every “like” their page received in the month of December, Security First Insurance donated $5 to OHFL. Check out their terrific thank you video for all those that supported in this month’s newsletter. Thank you to the W.W. Grainger Foundation and the local Jacksonville Grainger stores for their continued support of Operation Homefront-Florida. Because of them, 150 military families from the greater Jacksonville area received a box filled with various food products, holiday dinner items and a gift card for perishables during the holidays.
You are our heroes! Thanks to you and our corporate sponsors, over $10,000 was raised to support military families and wounded warriors. Last Veteran’s Day hometown hero, Sun Capital Partners Foundation, Inc., presented Operation Homefront Florida with check for $100,000. Bank of America also helped military families and wounded warriors by donating $10,000 to Operation Homefront. A great way to end a very successful 2011, thanks to all our supporters. You are the heroes to America’s heroes.
Left...Right...Left... Right! It's time to march in the Jacksonville Veteran's Day parade and celebrate the end of the Hero Campaign. Whether you spent this month walking for freedom, dressing babies in camo diapers or watching Designing Spaces on Lifetime you just may have participated in Operation Homefront's cause to help military families. If you missed the opportunity to walk for freedom on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 there is still an opportunity to walk in a parade with OHF this Veterans Day 11/11/11. Also in this month are "Giving Quilts" for the holidays, DOD Online transition training and successful results from The Back to School Brigade, $156,985!

How about run over to the Melting Pot in Pensacola who will donate a portion of proceeds for the month of July! Then once you are really in shape, join the Operation Homefront team for the 2011 Marine Corps Marathon.
