Local Outback Steakhouse Has a New Look
The Sterling, VA Outback Steakhouse location has included the "Say Thank You with a Postcard" project with their new look!
When the doors open daily YOU, the guest, have the opportunity to write a short note or just sign your name. Once YOU have completed the card just drop it into the mailbox and Operation Homefront DC Metro will deliver the card through many different types of events -like: Deployment Ceremonies in the DC Metro service area; to our Wounded Warriors around DC, VA, MD at medical centers like DeWitt and Walter Reed; Enclosed in care packages to our Deployed Service Members; we even had a Girl Scout Troop mail them to Deployed Family members filled with Girl Scout Cookies in 2011 & again in 2012.
Operation Homefront DC Metro hosts Deployment Ceremonies and works with the Wounded Warriors at Military Medical Centers in our service area. Deployment snack packs and Wounded Warrior care packages are assembled at the Operation Homefront DC Metro Sterling offices and distributed at upcoming events. The postcards that are collected from select Outback Steakhouse locations in our service area can be included in the snack packs or care packages.
So when you go to the Sterling, Outback Steakhouse in Virginia ask your server how you can personalize a postcard to say "Thank You" to our Service Members. When you stop in the Sterling Outback make sure to ask for Christina Calhoun and tell her you got her name from our Website, Facebook or Twitter - She would love to personally welcome you! If you are Active Duty, Retired or Military Family Member - let Christina or Aaron Mines (Proprietor) know - they would love to meet you.
