Mission Accomplished to Receive a Comforter from The Company Store
Local Military Children Received a Comforter from The Company Store
In recognition of America’s military servicemen and women and their families, The Company Store® spearheaded “Operation: Comforter Drop” in partnership with Operation Homefront. The Company Store will donate 10,000 comforters to provide comfort and warmth to the families of America’s veterans and military service members that will be distributed amoung our 20+ Operation Homefront Offices nationwide starting November 2012 through December 2012.
On Saturday November 10th, 2012 the DC Metro Chapter was one of the first to deliver comforters to our local Military Children. It was a great day and we were so happy to see those smiling faces as they held on tight to their new twin size comforters. We were able to complete the mission just in time for cold weather that is about to hit our area! It is predicted to be a bad one this year and these comforters will come in very handy!
