In the Wake of Sandy

In the Wake of Sandy

Operation Homefront assisted more than 75 families with food after the Derecho knocked out power in the region this last summer.

We helped families of service members who are on the front line serving us in our area during any storms as well as those deployed.

Now that the full force of Sandy has hit and the lights are out for the families of our service members, take a moment to donate so Operation Homefront DC Metro can continue to assist military families who need us.

Sandy's impact was severe in parts of the DC Metro Chapter’s service area.

Think of our military who continue to assist as the storm rages on and you have batten down your hatches.

Any donation amount will help greatly or  a donation of $100 will replace a week's worth a groceries for a family of four. Donate to feed a hero and their family on our website.

The DC Metro Chapter stands ready to assist military families affected by the devastating storms. OH DC Metro Chapter must be ready to provide grocery gift cards and commissary food vouchers to any active duty military family, E6 and below to replace food lost due to power outages and other issues related with this lastest storm.
