Letters from Wisconsin!
Wisconsin continues to show its support for our troops, as we have many different students from elementary, middle school, high school, and even college creating cards, letters, and care packages! Your efforts are truly appreciated as you can see in the thank you letter Operation Homefront Central Midwest received from a deployed Service member after he received one of our packages.
" Dear Operation Homefront,
Thank you so much for the care packages! I enjoyed mine and I know everybody else enjoyed theirs as well. You guys do a great job picking items out for us. I especially enjoy the drink mixes, because we drink way too much plain bottled water and it is nice to have some flavor (smiley face).
This box in particular made it to Iraq. It is getting warmer here; the comfortable months are over. April is infamous for sand storms. We've had two already with winds gusting up to 44 mph! It ripped our shade tarp down and it took us half a day to mend and put it back up.
Thank you for the job you are doing to support the Wisconsin Army National Guard. We appreciate all that you do and you make us proud to serve our nation and our state! "
