Help Iraq Vet Through Difficult Transition
An injured Iraqi Freedom Veteran and father of three was recently medically separated. Because of an error in reporting severance pay, the wounded veteran was unable to collect unemployment and social security benefits. His utilities have been disconnected and he is facing a vehicle repossession. Rent is late and legal proceedings are around the corner. Please help this OIF Veteran with assistance this month while he awaits corrections to his income.

Basic Needs for Veteran Family
A combat-injured veteran and his family of four (including two young children) have fallen into a financial crisis. Unable to work due to his injuries, he enrolled and has been attending college and doing very well. The financial crisis began when his GI Bill Educational benefits were stopped in between semesters. Wounded Warrior In Desperate Need of Vehicle
A wounded veteran in the Las Vegas, NV area, and his family of 5, are in desperate need of an auto donation. The family’s only vehicle is non-functional and not worth the cost of the repairs. The service member was injured during a deployment when a vehicle rolled over affecting his knee, hips and back. He is facing surgery soon for both hips and has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. He struggles with PTSD and anxiety from combat-related experiences. The family receives some backpay but not enough to survive. They are still waiting for a final rating to get more financial help. The service member is unable to work and his wife can only work part-time as she must care for him.

Help Family of Service Member Killed in Midland, TX Train Accident
Please help us support the family of Retired Army Sgt. Joshua Michael. Michael was one of the wounded warriors killed when a freight train plowed into the parade float on which he was riding in Midland, TX. Before he was killed, he pushed his wife to safety and she survived the accident.
Now his wife and their two children, ages 7 and 14, are in a difficult financial situation. Until their benefits are sorted out, they have no income and need help with all monthly bills including mortgage, utilities, food, etc. They need $3500 to meet their immediate financial need. In addition, they need help raising $20,000 to get out from under their current home loan so they can relocate as their current residence is next to a set of railroad tracks … a painful reminder of the tragedy they have endured.
Please help this family who are reeling from losing their loved one in a most tragic way.
