Current Needs

Yound Ft. Drum spouse in need of assistance with clearing walkway and driveway through the rest of the winter months. In addition the children are in need of dressers and new unused clothing Girls 2T - 6 Youth.

Wounded Service member, spouse & 3 month old child in need of home heating assisitnace. After a rush move due to mold in thier old apartment, Service Member did not realize inital cost of propane heating fuel for the new residence. Service members suffers from TBI, shoulder and neck injuries.

New and gently used baby furniture is needed at this time for our families in the Ft. Drum area. Help us support the newest additions to local military families by baby cribs, dressers, changing tables and rockers. All furniture must be in excellent condition with no recalls attached to the product.

As Operation Homefront is helping thousands of families in need of help, they are also in need of storage space to be able to put things that are being donated to the families. Three separate storage facilities are needed in the Ulster County, NY, Watertown, NY and Joint Base NJ area. We need the storage space to be secure, dry and able to accept deliveries.

As deployments to the war zone continues from bases across the country, thousands of service members are leaving their families back at home. For many of those families, a sudden car problem, roof leak or unreliable heater can cause financial hardship. In addition, our wounded warriors are struggling with disability claims processing, income changes, coping with their injuries and often a transition back into civilian life. That's why Operation Homefront needs: • Grocery gift cards • Gas cards • Monetary donations • Walmart and Target gift cards

Our chapter offices in Kingston, NY, Ft. Drum, NY and on Joint Base are all looking for donated office space with secure storage available to help support ongoing donations of goods and items throughout the year.
