Scottsdale, Ariz. – Yard House showed its appreciation for military families in Arizona by donating plasma televisions to Operation Homefront who will distribute the big-screens with the help of the Navy Operational Support Center, Phoenix.  This is the first of three donations this month, with Glendale and Phoenix distributions next week.

“We’re very happy to donate our collection of flat screen televisions to Operation Homefront,” said Harald Herrmann, president and CEO of Yard House Restaurants.  “This is an organization that does so much good for our service members, Wounded Warriors and their families, and we are extremely grateful to those who have served--and are serving--in the military.  It’s a very small gesture on our part, but we’re pleased that the televisions will get a new lease on life and be distributed as Operation Homefront sees fit.”

“Generous partners like Yard House provide a new dimension to Operation Homefront’s ability to provide vital services and aid to the families of military members and Wounded Warriors,” said Jim Knotts, president and CEO of Operation Homefront. “Thanks to all of the Yard House employees for sharing the fun, for which your restaurants are so well known, with our military families.”
