About the Armed Forces Day Concert

San Antonio is well-known as Military City, USA, and Operation Homefront seeks to further honor the brave men and women of our armed services, as well as those who have served in conflicts throughout the history of our nation, with an evening of gratitude at the Salute to our Heroes concert at UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures in Hemisfair Park, Downtown San Antonio. In conjunction with the City of San Antonio and the Paseo del Rio Association, the Salute to our Heroes recognition concert will follow the Here’s to our Heroes Military River Parade on the San Antonio Riverwalk on Armed Forces Day, May 19, 2012.
